At Louisiana Extended Care Hospital Lafayette Group we treat patients with complex and challenging medical conditions, it is rewarding work. 

Because we are a long-term acute-care hospital, our patients are usually at our facility for an average of about 25 days. Often times you will have the same patient assignment.

During this time, our staff has the opportunity to get to know patients and their families. This offers all of us the opportunity to see the difference and feel the satisfaction our care makes in a patient’s healing process as well as in his or her life.

As a small hospital of 32 beds, our staff becomes very close and we foster a work-family environment.
